Meanwhile, the winning candidate in Friday's election failed to get more than 5 percent of the vote in the Iranian presidential election voting runs-off or second phase. According to the Iranian constitution, the election was again held between the top two candidates if a candidate failed to get more than 5 percent of the vote. The second round of voting is already scheduled for July 7. Saeed Jalily and Masud Pageshkian have started their election campaign for the second phase of the second phase.
