The official, who requested anonymity, confirmed that the embarrassment was caused by Taskin's inability to wake up on time. Everyone was quite surprised to see only two pacers playing in the Super Eight match against India. At the same time, the surprise of not seeing Taskin in the eleven has spread to the sky. Later there were rumours, head coach Chandika  Hathurusinghe decided not to keep Taskin in the playing XI. "It is true that he (Taskin) missed the team bus and joined the team later," the official told Cricbuzz. But only the coach can tell why he didn't play. Only the head coach can answer whether Taskin was in the plan against India or not. Taskin was on the field during the national anthem. However, he did not get a place in the best eleven. He further said, 'If there was any problem (between the coach and the players) then how did they play in the next match against Afghanistan.
