The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with a maximum speed of 60 km over 8 districts of the country. This information was given in a forecast given for the inland river ports of the country till 1 pm on Monday (July 8).

In the forecast, it is said that over the districts of Rangpur, Mymensingh, Barisal, Patuakhali, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong and Sylhet, there may be temporary gusty or gusty wind or rain with thunder from south or south-east direction.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, the weather forecast till 6 pm on Monday said that rain with thunder may occur in many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and some places of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions. Also, there may be heavy rain in some parts of the country.
